Our process

We are specialists in sourcing, fabric knowledge and garment care. This is what sets us apart from other vintage dealers. We aim to provide pieces in the best possible condition to last a lifetime which would not be possible without our expert knowledge

We take the time to curate our selection piece by piece, providing our customers with uncompromising attention to detail and service.

Our selection includes off-key and runway pieces spanning from the 1990s through to the 2010s. Our curation includes clothing, handbags and accessories.

All pieces sourced by Ruder Than The Rest are rigorously checked in-house by a trained professional to prove authenticity.

We are committed to providing genuine vintage designer articles using up-to-date methods of authentication.

All items sold by Ruder Than The Rest are guaranteed authentic, any item discovered inauthentic will be refunded in full and further compensation will be offered. That is how confident we are in our authentication process.

Products are all used and will have signs of previous wear, every item goes through a rigorous visual inspection before going on sale, refer to product descriptions for full details of condition and sizing.

Measurements are given due to the difference of fit between the brand and production era. Please refer to these to ensure the fit is satisfactory.

All products have been professionally cleaned, sanitised and steamed.

After time leather products need conditioning and cleaning to keep the bag looking in good condition, this also increases the life of the leather by keeping it soft and supple.

Leather products are professionally cleaned and conditioned to ensure the longevity of the leather, the new owner can be assured to use their item with peace of mind that it has been cared for by Ruder Than The Rest.

Delivery

All orders will be dispatched promptly via FedEx, UPS, DPD or DHL.

All items are sent with recorded delivery which will require a signature upon delivery. The tracking information is provided through email upon dispatch of the order.

Orders placed on Saturday after 12pm and Sunday will be dispatched the following Monday.

UK shipping is free and usually takes 1-2 days for deliver.

International delivery is charged at a flat rate of £25 to anywhere in the world.

International delivery times will vary depending on location - delivery to Europe: 1-4 days. Delivery to USA: 2-5 days. Rest of the world: 2-7 days.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

Returns will only be accepted if the item is received back to us in the same condition it was received.

If you desire to return please notify us through email ([email protected]) before sending the item back so we can initiate the return process.
